CREEK CLEANUP AT CENTINELA AVENUE Saturday, May 19, 9am-noon, creek bike path entrance, Centinela Ave. & Milton St., Los Angeles 90066. Open to volunteers of all ages! In case of rain, the cleanup will be held the following week on May 26. CULVER CITY GREENSPACE PLAN PUBLIC WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED
BCR is now participating in a project, along with the City of Culver City, Northeast Trees, and Culver City Unified School District, to gather public opinion about our parks and open recreational spaces, including Ballona Creek. How might they be improved to increase passive recreation or wellness activity opportunities? How might we enhance personal and environmental health?
If you visit and use Culver City's parks and outdoor places, we'd like to hear from you. Download this flyer for more information (PDF format- requires Adobe Acrobat Reader). The second public workshopis will be Saturday, April 28, 10 AM - 11:30 AM, Rotunda Room, Veterans Memorial Building, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City
